The one thing you never read in these articles are the consequences of the anti-war movement getting what they want. They never acknowledge what will happen to millions of innocent people if we leave Iraq unable to protect themselves.

"We cobbled together a majority by winning in a lot of seats that tend to be conservative: in the South, in the rural Midwest, and so on. These members are very much afraid that if they get to far out front, theyre going to lose their seat, and theyre being advised to not take risks so we can sustain this majority.
translation for the mentally impaired in the MSM: there is no "anti-war majority" no matter what the liars of the left might say. The 2006 election was not a repudiation of the Iraq War or the GWOT, the 'Rats picked seats in moderate-to-conservative districts due to (1) Republican ineptitude; (2) 'Rat lying, fraud, and dishonest propaganda; (3) MSM energetic propaganda on behalf of the Demagogues.
The country is nearly evenly divided, to be sure, but the far-left freak groups like "Code Pinko" and the "Progressive" 'Rat socialists' caucus in Congress can only be taken seriously because they lie constantly about their true far-left beliefs and the MSM conspires with them not to expose the radical anti-Americanism that motivates these freaks.
