Yes, this was a while back. And after all the flak about it, she did apologize and ask that it be removed from the official record.

Wasn’t that back when the Rs forced the Ds into a vote on Murtha’s “cut n run” resolution? Didn’t Murtha vote against his own resolution? The Ds made such a stink about the whole vote.

I recall that it almost got physical at one point.

Ah, the good ol’ days.

A few more like her and maybe the Republicans could find their spine.

She has a bigger set than most of the guy Rs. Hrmm, if you can excuse my crudeness.

This was at the end of 2005, early in December if I recall, when we first started to hear about Lard-A$$ (name courtesy of Mark Levin) John Murtha, so the Republicans decided to have a vote on it. Congresswoman Schmidt's words were near the start of the debate, it did almost get physical, and in the end, Murtha voted against his own resolution (basically the Pubs took Murtha's words and put it into a resolution and brought it to the floor), and the final vote was 403-3 against a pullout. Of course, the Democrats called it a "political stunt" and the DriveBy Media gave them cover.
