Rep. John Doolittle (R-CA) "defiantly declared Friday that he will not retire from Congress despite increasing Republican concern that if he runs for a 10th term next year, the seat could fall to Democratic challenger Charlie Brown," the Sacramento Bee reports.
Said Doolittle: "I will not step aside. I am running again. Period."

And working for someone is what? Illegal? The FBI subpoenaed her records in 2004. Has any federal agency (or other law enforcement group) brought any charges against her or publicly alleged wrongdoing? It seems to me that many are getting their talking points from Charlie Brown.
Also, what if Doolittle is the nominee but loses the general election? Do you really think its worth the risk?
I believe in the "innocent until proven guilty" theory. Should George Bush have not run for President because of his association with Harken Energy Corp? After all, it was a risk!
BTW, I have no problem with anyone wanting to challenge Doolittle in a primary. I do have a problem with people making allegations in the absence of evidence to support them.
Wow! Convict him based on conjecture and rhetoric and punish him even if he is innocent? I don't like the world you promote!
He has been charged with absolutely NOTHING.
The Democrats (and you apparently) have been trying to slime him for three years now and have been unsuccessful.
Go back to shilling for Giuliani.

Get away with WHAT? He has been charged with NOTHING. His wife disclosed her income, and its sources in public disclosures.
