Thanks for the Luft46 link; other lurkers and posters should check
it out...some really amazing stuff did come off the German drawing boards
before the end of WWII.
But I do admit a cognitive dissonance while appreciating some of the
designs and lush graphics of Luft 46.
And keep reminding myself: this is the work-product of a nasty regime.
And thank goodness we (US Forces) managed to “requisition” plenty of
the manpower and hardware of the Luftwaffe and missle design in
the closing days of the end of WWII!
