Sorry but Kaulthammer is dead wrong. This is what happens when pundits try to forecast about Iraq based wholly on Western PC media “reporting”.
A federal partition of Iraq could work, but only under amicable conditions, which seem to be coming slowly. The United States, and even to some extent the UK, does well with that sort of system. Israel and Palestine— not so much.
