Very close ... Cutler Ridge Mall was decimated, as I’m sure you know ... and the target of frenzied looting for awhile. Miami was pretty ok in the early 70’s .. lived there by the Bay, not far from the old Sears on Biscayne Blvd. for a year, but it’s sure a scary place now, and with the current real estate bubble, full of stopped condo projects, from all I read. But, Miami’s endured those cycles before .. will probably come back in time, as it always has.
