THe = These
The same thing would have happened if you were a Christian who believed in the pro-life movement. Unless you agreed with anything the far left worships you will most likely get the same reaction. Sad.
I have the same problem with a tin-foil idiot at work that reads every conspiracy blog out there. When he starts his rant on how terrible Bush is for killing people in Iraq, I agree with him that it is terrible.....that he isn’t killing more of them with nukes like Democrap Harry Truman did! Then I ask him who has killed more innocent people, a Democrap like Truman or a republican like Bush. Usually shuts him up!
Did the wife and/or dog thank you?
Or, you can get a photo of his wife, use a Sharpie to draw a burkha on her, and say, "This is what your wife would look like if it weren't for us being in Iraq."
Well, maybe not the second one....
Get a new friend.
Good for you! Citing sources and being able to back up what you say is usually a winner (or conversation killer).
I like to carry the Cato pocket constitution. When someone speaks of the separation of church and state, right to privacy, or that we are a democracy, being faced with the constitution is like a vampire faced with a cross.
Tell your friend you’re entitled to voice your opinion in this country.
I stand up to these whackos. I loved wearing George W Bush shirts that said “10 out of 10 terrorists agree, anyone but Bush” in the upper west side of NYC. It drives them absolutely nuts.
No, as matter of fact, the wife only said that I have different views from him. Then, when my friend said he would be uncomforable coming back to the dog park....she replied, “don’t worry about it, he won’t be coming back again”.
I’m sure that there will be some who will make wide circles around me when I return.. Now, I’ll be able to read some of my better source material in peace while by dog romps..
It’s never prudent to argue with total strangers. You might be the unlucky guy who’s arguing with the schizophrenic who forgot his meds last night but decided to carry an extra magazine in case the black helicopters come again.
Killing silently is a tall order, but a quick look at an anatomy chart will show that the larynx is an easy enough targetproviding you can make a stealthy submerged approach, sneak up on your victim, and catch him unaware. Once that's accomplished, grasp his hair as close to the scalp as you're able to and yank his head back while using your Ka-Bar combat knife to make a lateral cut across his throat. Make sure you sever both the carotid artery and jugular vein while piercing the windpipe, and press hard; the larynx is a tough, rubbery piece of tissue.
Sometimes it’s fun to see how kooky they can go. Just act confused and say “really?” and off they go!
“Only a fool argues with a fool.” - - Chinese proverb
I met a “truther” a couple of weeks ago in the grocery store. He was behind me in line and I told him to go ahead of me since he had fewer items. He said no and that it was very nice of me to offer. We started talking about how society seems to be going in the toilet etc.
Then he stops talking and says 9/11. Says buildings were brought down with demolitions, oh and he’s a poli sci major and he has proof concentration camps are being built!
I told him Good. We can put all the liberals in them. He said, what’s a liberal, there are only American and anti American. I just told him okay, liberal = anti American.
My cashier and bag boy were grinning the whole time. I think he stayed in line behind me to try to educate me about 9/11. My first “truther” incident. He was about 55 yo and very spacy.
Make sure she understands why your views are better!
Find stronger friends.
I avoid such situations because I just know that I would rebut their argument by punching them in their dumb monkey face.
