(AP) A man who for 12 years served as president of the Virginia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union was sentenced to seven years in prison for downloading what authorities said was some of the "most abhorrent" child pornography they have ever seen.
The prison term for Charles Rust-Tierney, 52, of Arlington, is one year less than the minimum sentence suggested under federal sentencing guidelines, and more than the five-year term defense attorneys wanted.
Rust-Tierney said depression and "plummeting self-esteem" led him astray.

Interestingly, the Free Thinker pedos have petitioned the ACLU because they want to have the age of consent lowered or removed entirely.

Is there a Mrs. Rust-Tierney standing by his side during all this?

“Plummeting self-esteem” caused him to download illegal child porn? Did viewing child porn improve his self-esteem? Maybe his “popularity” in prison will improve his self-esteem as well.

The Washington Post headline on this was a little coy about the ACLU perv: “Man get 7 years in child porn case.” Typical. I’m surprised they even allowed the word “porn” in the headline.

I guess he thought he could get himself off. With all that porn, that's probably what he was doing.

Ellis said Friday that the pornography downloaded by Rust-Tierney "was of the most abhorrent kind," including torture and sexual assaults on children as young as 6. Rust-Tierney paid hundreds of dollars to subscribe to multiple illegal child pornography Web sites at least as far back as 2004, authorities said. When he was arrested, police found roughly 850 still images and 36 videos of child pornography.
Hopefully, many horny prison Bubba's will pass this scum-bag around daily.

I googled the name and got her image as well. Seems that a lot of stuff about these two have been error 404’d off the internet. Where is our right to know being protected here?
