Some of my friends are unreformed Democrats. Usually good people, who "feel" something is right as opposed to dealing with facts and deduction. They say they could vote for Rudy because he is a known entity. He is known to the Dems, Left, and Libs as he was in NYC and is respected by all there. So, as you say, he needs to be the candidate. He also needs to clarify his positions. If FT is VP, fine.
The virtual fence type of video surveillance and sensors are fine but only when deployed in conjunction with a real fence. Such as the White House has a stout wrought iron fence that is supplemented with Secret Service personal, sensors and surveillance cameras

I agree with you 100% on Rudy. And reading and re-reading what he said to Glenn Beck only reinforces my opinion. I also get the impression that if it comes down to it, Glenn Beck would vote for Rudy over Hillary.

We said, Clinton will drive republicans to the polls...they didn’t show up!!!!!!! Who showed up? Ultra Conservatives who refused to look for a winnable candidate “Well golly, Dole hates abortion and the Dept of Education..that certainly will bring America out in droves”. WRONG!!!!
