Amen...I hope I am wrong..I hope when you all annoint Fred and he gets crushed by the media and the majority of public believes them..I hope that he could still beat she who may not be named..but I don’t think I am wrong...he just reminds me of everything Bob Dole was...We are not Democrats..our voice does not get heard...we don’t have the time to introduce America to Thompson...Rudy is known..and he is loved by both sides...somewhere in your brains there has to be a shred of winner’s instinct..not just..”Oh well at least I voted for the candidate who agreed with me on abortion” If you can all stomach 8 years of her and her destruction of our troops, our liberites and our borders...then there is really nothing more to say to you. I hope I am wrong. I hope FT can beat her..but I don’t think I am wrong. 1996 sucked..don’t do this to us again.

I’ll believe in virtual fences when I see Israel using them.

I’ll believe in virtual fences when the place one around the white house.I’m sure we’ll see how well it will work then.

You said it correctly. There is a need to win. Eventually, non activist judges will implement the Constitution once again and we will have won. My concern with Rudy is his illegal immigrant statement. He is smart so I would anticipate a "new" direction from him. I would hope he says, "What I stated related to the law. My view is the illegals have to go home because we are a nation of laws."

Some of my friends are unreformed Democrats. Usually good people, who "feel" something is right as opposed to dealing with facts and deduction. They say they could vote for Rudy because he is a known entity. He is known to the Dems, Left, and Libs as he was in NYC and is respected by all there. So, as you say, he needs to be the candidate. He also needs to clarify his positions. If FT is VP, fine.

The virtual fence type of video surveillance and sensors are fine but only when deployed in conjunction with a real fence. Such as the White House has a stout wrought iron fence that is supplemented with Secret Service personal, sensors and surveillance cameras

Hmmm. Were you around in "96? You seem to be forgetting a very important, and relevant detail about that election?

Something along the lines of Clinton NOT getting a majority of the vote. Bring back memories?

so Rudy doesn’t stand with us 100%...80% is still better than Hillary isn’t it?

No reasonable person could argue that Rudy "stands with us" on 80% of the issues.

hence, they typically rely on ad hominem (personal) attacks as their means of argumentation.

Yes, I see what you mean...

However, the goose stepping intolerant FRED Heads

I agree with you 100% on Rudy. And reading and re-reading what he said to Glenn Beck only reinforces my opinion. I also get the impression that if it comes down to it, Glenn Beck would vote for Rudy over Hillary.

Are you serious...is that your argument? Well..not enough people showed up..so that proves something..HE STILL WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is my exact point...we ran Dole! We said, Clinton will drive republicans to the polls...they didn’t show up!!!!!!! Who showed up? Ultra Conservatives who refused to look for a winnable candidate “Well golly, Dole hates abortion and the Dept of Education..that certainly will bring America out in droves”. WRONG!!!! We have to be willing to realize that Presidents do not win elections because they brought out their base alone.”Well golly, at least my conscience will be clear..because I didn’t check the box for that abortion loving New Yorker “ In 8 years when you no longer have the freedom to think for yourself because your misstep allowed the rest of America (who isn’t with us on the far right) to be scared off and cast a box for HER, I hope you remember that you told me Clinton only won because Americans didn’t show up. Watch it happen again if you put up a lackluster, grouchy Greatest Generation President. I guarantee Clinton would rather run against Bob Dole jr

I didn't say or suggest anything of the sort. I have no idea what that rant was about since it addressed nothing that I said.

You still have no idea what I'm referring to, do you?

Question: How did Clinton win if he didn't get a majority of the vote?
