GHW Bush lost in 1992 all by his self. He was foolish. Had Bush simply stayed the course Reagan began he would been a landslide two termer. Bush did not like Reagan policy. That was very obvious as he and Dick Cheney wasted not a moment taking apart such accomplishments as the Reagan military. It was well on it's way to disaster when Clinton took office. Clinton took it even further though. Bush lost on "Read my lips", calling up our troops to war then leaving Saddam in power costing us billions, plus Poppy's 1000 points of NWO Liberalism. Poppy Bush was about as opposite of Reagan as was every bit like Jerry Ford and Nelson Rockefeller. That cost him his office. Perot was a non issue in that election. Place the blame on the man who failed howaboutit.

Perot was a result of Bush failures. He wasn't the cause of Poppy Bush's miserable failures in office. Bill Clinton simply ran to Poppy's right and won. He did it to Dole as well. Bob Dole if you will think back real hard turned the GOP Convention and platform over to Christie Todd Whittman and Susan Malanari who turned off and disgusted virtually every conservative in the nation. There wasn't any good third party so Conservatives simply stayed home. I voted Dole BTW my last GOP vote for POTUS in the general elections. That was Bob Dole's own doing. Clinton again ran to the right of Dole. Afterward we all saw how ridiclous Bob Dole really was now didn't we? Remember the Viagra Commericals? Of course not.

With Rudy, Fred, Mitt, and John, the Dem choice will easily run to their right and likely win.

Bush Junior didn't win over Gore because he was popular it was because Gore was tainted. Had anyone else even Lieberman ran against Bush in the general he would have lost by a wide margin. Gore ran to the right of Bush. Do you see a pattern there?

The 1994 GOP congressional candidates ran hard line Conservative. They won unprecedented victories over the DEMs and made history. Yet by 1996 the sellout had begun and the GOP became as useless as an empty water bottle in the desert in fighting liberals. Senate Majority Leader Kennedy looked on and smiled. First to sellout was Lott then Newt where is Lott now BTW? Back in GOP senate leadership and Newt considering a POTUS run?

In 1996 all Bob Dole had to do was run as a Conservative. He listened to the Neocon liberal stooges in the RNC and he lost BIG.

Neocons always have to have either an Independent or Conservative to blame on their failures on. For example it wasn't Poppy's fault it was Perot's. That is what is called DENIAL and refusal to learn from past mistakes. What do they call making the same mistakes over and over again and expecting different results? Well the Palo's haven't had any say in the party direction for a long time {1994} so that leaves who as the ones making the mistakes?

As for the other things you mention? Let me remind you of this. Bill Clinton had a DEM majority for only two short years. He was up against a GOP Majority in two houses for six. Bush had a GOP majority to work with. Now you explain to me just how in the H-e- double sticks Clinton managed to get those agenda's through but Bush can only get token Conservative ones? It was RINO's. The same ones that when it comes time for election the Neocons say Oh we can't get risk getting rid of Hatch, Specter, etc because a Dem might win. The GOP became so obsessed with maintaining power they it sold it's political soul to the devil.

The GOP house and senate wizzed away opportunity after opportunity to change the course of this nation and repair the damage done post-Reagan era. Add to that the Bush Junior Micromanaging of congressional and senate primaries so his NeoCon friends could come to Washington instead of Conservatives. Explain that one too me I'm all ears. The insanity never ends. When O'Connor stepped down from the USSC who's name was floated around for her replacement? Orrin Hatch for one by many Freepers then Bush's secretary. Now you still yet can not see a problem?

The GOP NEOCON's have nearly destroyed the party and are enablers to the DEMs to destroy the nation. The Palo's say no to both of them now who's right? Yet you really think Independent Conservative voters are a threat to our nation? Sheesh!!!!

Check into you Conservative history and learn who's who. Some Independents were among the first to help start the Conservative revolution in the late 70's One was Howard Phillips. Then there was a DEM Jerry Falwell. A Republican Paul Weyrich as well. Plus others from various walks. They formed a movement that helped catapult Reagan into office and later set the ground work for the 1994 wins as well. Don't thank the NEOCON's they managed to tear everything that was gained down. They think the GOP must be Liberal enough to win DEM votes. That's not what won those major elections!!! That is what cost the GOP seats. I'm telling you the GOP better come up with someone other than recycled Neocon Liberals One, two, three, or four, pretty soon or there will be a DEM POTUS in 2009. I don't want it. I'm just sounding the warning.

Like it or not right now Ron Paul is the only one running who is 180 out of sync with Hillary. Elect Hillary and the troops will still be in Iraq till hell freezes over only under a U.N. flag and command. She can't run right of Paul, Tancredo, or likely even Hunter. The GOP will only win by running hard right. Conservative DEMs will not cross over for a Neocon. No liberal Dem will cross over for a Neocon nor will the moderates. That leaves us with what? A split GOP with a Liberal Lite platform. Been there seen that No Thank You.

You make some very good points, and, I certainly agree with some of them, but, sad to say, Paul is not going to get it done................He is closer to the edge of loony valley than Perot...........He has a snowball's chance in hell of being elected to POTUS...........

Even though I agree with some of your points, in various posts, in my heart, I know that Paul is a loser, and will most likey implode well before the party conventions (and probably go Independent)...........I cannot put my trust and my vote in the hands of such an unstable candidate...............

the best to you and yours..........
