Why Does Fox News Hate Ron Paul?
AOL News ^ | Sep 7th 2007 | Jeff Hoard

Edited on 09/07/2007 2:33:06 PM PDT by Lead Moderator. [history]

Fox News moderators in the debate accused Paul of taking "Marching orders from Al Qaeda." Arguably the worst moderating I have seen, as Paul ends up having to debate the moderators?!?

During this debate season, Fox News decided to add "cell phone voting" to the post-debate analysis. After the first debate, Ron Paul won the cell phone vote, much to the displeasure of the Fox News pundits (youtube video from that debate here.)

The second Fox News debate was no different. Pundits Hannity and Colmes assure the audience that Ron Paul is winning the poll simply because people are redialing. What is the point of having a poll if people are able to abuse it? Ron Paul supporters, a bit tired of being beaten down by the media, put together this video to debunk the Hannity and Colmes "redialing theory."

Click here to watch the video

I am curious to know if Fox News viewers would like to see each candidate treated fairly, or if they prefer that the newscasters go as far as lying to make some candidates look worse than others.

I got a pic of Rumsfeld with Saddam and Zbig Brez, Carter’s NSA fondling AK’s with OBL. What’s your point? Ron Paul represents west Texas where people tend to keep to themselves and tend to be very self reliant due to the fact they are trying to live in one inhospitable region of the earth, west texas. It’s a lot Afghanistan and Ron Paul kind of fits the mold for American Taleban. He’s a nutbag.

I said in post #40 that I don’t listen to Hannity very much on tv or radio. He is giving his opinion if he favors Rudy. Do you see bias toward Rudy in the Fox news segments?

Nice job comparing the good people in west Texas to the Taliban.

You don’t have to listen to Hannity very much. He’s a broken record.

1. Certifiable lunatics like paleoPaulie are not what we are looking for. Die Hildebeast may or may not trum him for the lunatic vote but probably not.

2. We don't need to confuse the public into thinking that a nut like paleoPaulie can run as a Republican in spite of being antiAmerican and antiwar. We Republicans have the obligation to obliterate our party's apparent disgrace of having an antipatriot as an available option.

3. He is, after all, Dr. Demento carrying on a love affair with Al Qaeda.

4. Because superimposing paleoPaulie's smug insolent mug on a t-shirt of Che Guevara IS a credible image in terms of antiAmericanism and you posted it.

I grew up 18 years in El Paso. I know of what I speak. Ron Pauls been around longer than dinosaue dust. He epitomizes our inert bloated worthless federal government (other than defense and justice)

PaleoPaulie is no patriot for another. He is an AlQaeda footstool wannabe.

PaleoPaulie’s “issue” (surrender to the Islamofascisti and kissing their backsides) will linger on so long as there is a Demonratic Party which is where he ought to go.

and besides that I wasn’t disparaging anyone other than RonPaul. I complimented the people for being hardscrabble. It’s just not realistic to extend his ideas today. He’s like liberal democrats, got a could decent ideas but about 1,000 years to early with them. We aren’t ready for Ron Paul’s vision of self reliance. Doesn’t mean we won’t get there with the aid of technology.

You got me wound up now. To expand on why Ron Paul epitomizes the inert, bloated worthless federal government - he’s still there. His ideas never took hold. Ron Paul is an utter failure. He should have quite in shame a decade or more ago. The fact he’s still pulling down a tax payer provided paycheck is a sham. We the people are stupid.

Reagan Democrats are and were patriots. PaleoPaulie’s Demonrats are modern day Abbie Hoffmans and Jerry Rubins and Jane Fondas.

Read Peggy’s What I Saw at the Revolution. If she is gong antiwar and antiAmerican, she is simply reverting to the windtunnel antiwar stupidity of her misspent youth. She should know better but there are casualties in politics as well as war such as her mind.

“Why Does Fox News Hate Ron Paul?”

Because they love Rudy Giuliani.

paleoPaulie is well qualified to be the American Taliban except you would have a lot harder time finding an abortion mill in Taliban territory than in paleoPaulie's territory.

OTOH, the last time I checked, Galveston is cheek by jowl with Houston and both are on the Gulf Coast which is East Texas not West Texas. West Texas has too much sense to elect anyone like the paleopipsqueak to federal office.

Giuliani’s response to Rep. Paul. He was the one smirking and even laughed.

Ahhh. The same man who thinks illegal immigration is NOT a crime. While I don't agree with Mr. Paul on some issues, I would never show him disrespect. Doing so will only show me as weak and unable to express my differences. Thanks for your telling me who laughed.

That photo is sooooo old that paleoPaulie may still have been a patriot rather than an Al Qaeda stooge.

Paul may go but his issue lingers on.

And that is why they hate him so.
