Would it? All you'd have to do is remove their domain name from the main DNS servers, or reassign the domain names to IP addresses that go nowhere.

Perhaps. OTOH, the basic mechanism could be quite similar to the "botnet" attacks described here.

This is a video, it’s not a computer. Yes, it’s possible to put hardware in a computer that’s trackable; but this is a file. It’s data. It’s not even software; there’s no BIOS involved, no hardware, no motherboard. This is like saying NBC can put some hardware in a rerun of “Friends” that will allow tracking your TV when you move it.

The Germans have airport security down to an art. They’ve been dealing with hijackings and other terrorists a lot longer than we have. Frankfurt airport (before 911) is set up with all “waiting rooms” having bulletproof, transparent walls. The entire airport can be locked down and every room sealed almost instantly.
