I know what you mean. I went Tuesday morning and had to have a cortisone injection in my right wrist. It really hurt all that afternoon and Wednesday. Then I got a stomach bug and was up all Wed. night and can not get to sleep now because I have to keep getting up. Might as well stay up until I get so sleepy that I can go to sleep. I have had cortisone shots before but this one was different. Right after I got it, I had this terrible metallic taste in my mouth and then I got ill. Don’t know if there is a connection but I have really, really been ill. I have to go back Monday to have some nerve tests done in my arm and hand. Should be lots of fun!!!
Oh dear that sounds awful! curious why the cortisone in wrist. I have my chiropractor adjust my elbows(golt/tennis) & wrists(tunnel carpal) & he does ART. Both do help. Metallic taste? that is interesting I hav a metallic or just similar aftertaste any time I have something with artificial sweeting in it. I dont do diet drinks etc but now & then it is added to other things I have. Please keep us posted.
Did the cortisone do what it was supposed to do?
I slept til 10 & wil be fixing mom breakfst & heading out for dog walk to a place I like. It is a little treacherous & I was hesitatnt not being up to par & then I considered.. I may continue to get much worse & this MAY be the best I will ever feel my entire remaining life..SO, going to go & do the best I can. I will be going DOWN a waterfall & thru the stream about 2 miles until it dumps into a river & then along/thru the river. My kind of hike.. It is going to be hot here & that weather too is no doubt going to be rare in days ahead with fall peeking inalready
