Thanks to Berlin Freeper for this one! Vote for the Marine slogan!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

Voted, now if only they would bring back that chess commerical. The cute guy in uniform and the horse made my little teenager heart go pitterpat.... lol
That said...horses still make my heart go pitterpat...but as for the guys in uniform...I had to narrow it down to one...and his uniform is green. :P

Speaking of slogans, and the Army (ok, so it’s just me)...man do I ever miss “be all that you can be”. It was right on up there with “the few, the proud.” That “Army of One” business is so...blech.

I have never even heard some of those slogans (the Pepsi one for example). So, I had my 7 year old daughter come over...once she got what the whole thing was about, it turns out the only one she recognised was Allstate...and then she promptly started singing the Nationwide jingle. Apparently she pays attention to insurance commercials. Sure enough, she then goes into telling me that I can save tons of money if I switch to Geico...15 minutes...blah blah! So, now, thanks to this one little vote, I have to discuss insurance and advertising with a 7 yr old. LOL She wants to know why our company of choice (USAA) doesn’t run commericals all the time like the others! LOL
