Back in the day they were called “shower shoes”, and folks in the barraks wore them to keep from getting foot fungus when they hit the showers.

Whenever I see them, I think of foot fungus, that bothers me more than the suck.

They still are lol....my son started BMT this week and one of the things he had to have were “shower shoes” aka flip-flops.
He doesn’t like them but in BMT you do what the AF tells you! lol
