Be thankful for them.

If a person is so lazy and cares so little about his/her job that he/she would wear flip/flops to work, then you know that he/she is not a person to trust with anything important.

Think of them as "never going to make it" footwear.

Half (or more) of DC wears flip flops! Metro had an article in the Post about one “captive shoe” stuck in an escalator every day. Idiots I say, but then again not a ridiculous as high heels for safety.

There’s a couple of women here that wear the flip-flops, big baggy sweat shirt, blue jeans or pajama bottoms, tie their back in a pony tail, no make-up. They are indeed lazy as can be. It probably takes them 2 minutes to get ready to leave the house. Laaaaazzzzyyyyyy........
