If the national GOP does not select Hunter or Tancredo....the GOP will get trounced in Nov 2008. Pandering to illegal aliens will cost them many votes.
In fact Hunter is the only GOP candidate who could win CA from the Dems. No liberal pro-illegal GOPer stands a chance

That's exactly what happened in 2006, IMO. Although the MSM only printed stories about how the GOP lost hispanic votes, they lost more white male votes. IF they got the same percentage of white male votes that they did in 2004, they would've won both houses. Let's see if they've learned. (Ha, I won't be betting anything on that!)

Agreed, UCFRW, agreed.
Why, Duncan Hunter, in a one-on-one TV debate with Hilary Clinton, would kick her (political) arse to kingdom-come. I could evision him walking all over here in circles, she would probably have a nervous breakdown in the process.
The other GOP candidates, mostly the establishmment and media's top choices, would be "too gentleman" to deal with America's enemies in that fashion. Too benevolent for my liking and for what's at stake for the Republic.
