I watched that debate--the first full one I've bothered watching this year. Ron Paul did
not win by any stretch of the imagination.
He is sincere, fiery, and speaking his mind in a bold fashion. He is also wrong, and has no chance in hell of becoming President.

‘Ron Paul clearly won the Republican presidential debate last night held in New Hampshire.’
(chuckle)
Uh huh, and current President Howard Dean text messaged his viewpoint on it.....

All this says to me is either that more Ron Paul supporters watched the debate or they were the ones most inclined to participate in the poll.
You're probably right. But that also says that the other candidates don't have very enthusiastic supporters.

Heck, I’d of thought even a casino addict wouldn’t gamble on a nut like Ron Paul.

He won the poll. That's what the article was referring to.

These Pauls guys remind me of the Fire Ants in my yard. You thing you have run them off and they just keep popping up somewhere else.
To: freedomdefender
This is both hugh and series!!!
Casinogamblingweb.com is the only endorsement that I put any stock in at all.
(If I promise to vote for Ron Paul will they give me the guaranteed winner for Monday night’s game?)
To: freedomdefender
I think someone bought 10K on a 100-1 odds of Ron winning and they are trying to cover their bets here...

Yes, Paul has thought about his answers, and so has every other person on that stage. The difference is candidates like Paul, Tancredo, Hunter and Brownback are saying what they really believe. For that, one doesn't need to rehearse.
Meanwhile, Romney, Giuliani and McCain all practiced saying their responses in many different ways, maybe even polled a few focus groups on which way was best. Fred Thompson will be just like this too whenever he debates.

And this “win” means....what? That the anonymous texters that sent in responses are better connected than the real America?
I would not even know HOW to send a text message. How do you even get one typed in on a home handset?

I’m strongly suspicious of who his supporters really are. This anti-war pull our troops out now cult like following is just a bit too weird to be all Libertarians. I would think even hard-core Libertarians can see the error in turning tail and running away from this war now.
I think many in the ranks of his supporters are really from the loony left, anti-war crowd, who have not been able to latch on to any of the Democrats yet. And most of these I think are just getting a kick out of trying to upset the GOP Apple Cart.
To: freedomdefender
Yep, Ron Paul won. Fun to watch everyone twist and shout.
