It could, as far as I’m concerned, but I don’t think Fred would take second billing. Hunter would accept the second banana spot to help the country. He’s a humble (in the best sense) patriot.

He stated in one of his Fox interviews, that he wouldn't acccept VP, that it would not be in the Country's best intrests.

And if you think about it, what useful purpose could it serve? A "placeholder with an R", a "standby" just in case? I mean, in 8 years he'd be 73? Forget about his so called health issues, do you really want a POTUS starting out at 73?

Personally, I don't see any of the current candidates as a VP. Especially if FRed or Duncan make it in. Both are "masters" of their own domain, and neither would want a VP even close to the strength of Cheney. They would be perfect with a POTUSIT. (POTUS In Training LOL)

JC Watts would be a nice, conservative fit. :O) And he would NOT cow tow to the libs!
