Should a person who runs over a child crossing the street, because they are talking on their cell phones be prosecuted? - Yes.
So why wouldn't someone who commits a whoopsie-daisy by cooking their kid in a car be held liable???
Of course I wouldn’t. Nor would I intentionally put my kids in harms way. And that’s the point here.
