Most Ridiculous Item
Time now for "The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day." We have a correction to make. A few weeks ago we did a report on some anti-Semitic stuff on a far-left Web site.
We mistakenly attributed some of that to a man named David Hoenig, but he was actually reporting on it and had nothing to do with it. So our information was incorrect. We apologize to Mr. Hoenig and to you for making the error, which is always ridiculous.

What about the crap he said about FreeRepublic? Where is the apology?
Anyone here from him?

O’Reilly is not intelligent enough to understand Freeper commentary anyway.

I wonder how many weeks it would take to bring a defamation suit against BOR.

Not to worry....just watching the other Fox news times kicking B.O. tail consistently for the first time in years is satisfaction enough.

I won't watch BOR anymore. It was frustrating to see Code Pink gut him like prize trophy when they were his guests.
It's even worse when he unfairly slams FR and won't reply to the challenge.
I've seen enough and I somewhat regret that I badgered my cable provider to carry FNC. Likewise somewhat regret that I badgered the hotels I stayed at carry FNC.

I believe that was the week Bill was gone on vacation and others sat in for him. So don’t buy the champagne quite yet.

Was this a planned vacation? The numbers don’t look so good for the week prior.

I have no idea. Bill didn’t check in with me before taking off. He is smart enough, though, to have Michelle Malkin set in for him while gone.

Interesting...It would be easy to blame the low numbers all week on Michelle but I don't buy it.
...the word is out to only watch on Friday when Michelle Malkin is on. The numbers last week show Friday was the best day.

it’s a trend I hope continues. I just can’t stand to watch BOR anymore...H&C either for that matter. FNC has been a decided disappointment to me. As far as I’m concerned the only things worth watching are Britt Hume and Neal Cavuto and the Saturday morning financial lineup. That’s it...the rest is just drek.

I can’t speak for others but I watch Bill almost every day but the week he was off I surfed there a couple of times but did not watch at all. I’m sure there are others like me. Same with Rush. When he is not on I don’t listen, even though I like the ones that sit in for him.

Sounds to me that you agree with Bill that FR is a hate site. Question...Why are you here?

I not only don’t agree with Bill on that subject but I’ve been a Freeper for a while now and know it not true. I am not one to throw the baby out with the bath water. Bill has , in the past done a lot for children and charities and harassed a few idiot judges along the way. I tend to look at the good and forget the bad. What he said, although way out of line, did not seem to hurt FR in any way. Anyone that knows us, knows we are not bad people. To me, it just made Bill look foolish.

I’m on Maui and don’t get over to Oahu much. Too much people and traffic over there and they don’t have anything I can’t get here on Maui. I’m not a lover of big cities. Aloha and thank you son for his service for us. Aloha

Not only has Bill called for a defacto censorship of the Internet, he has also come out on the defeatist side of the war. Bill has done a lot of good for the Conservative movement but is coming out as a big looser on the big issues.
It’s wrong to suggest people should shut up and only listen to Bill. Enough is enough.
