Yeah, but Paul videos on You Tube are free as well...
And that development for tourism should be federally funded because...?
and thought they were voting for this:
Welcome to BodyMore Murderland Hon. Have fun to the Fair, I'm goin' downey Ocean.
It ain't trolling when it's the truth. And it ain't trolling when the truth is in line with the core values of this website - namely, WE SUPPORT THE IRAQ WAR - and don't apologize to Islamic thugs for America pursuing its interests.
You just don't like the truth being posted about Ron Paul on his threads.
It is so neato and really really cool?
They are all in favor of limited government until it limits what they want government to do.
Funny, I never hear Paul going after Democrats , only his lunatic foreign policy blaming the US for the Jihad.
he’s a loser to me.
“Got anything that’s not textbook propaganda material?”
No, they don’t. Same old, same old, over and over and over and over,
You get the point.
Now you write: "Yes the revolutionary war and the civil war.
The side that fought for self determination lost the second war.
You first wrote 'we'. Am I to assume from this that you take the side of the Confederacy?
And a civil war is a fight over who controls the government - we have never had one of those.
A very focused definition. Here's how Dictionary.com difines 'Civil War':
civil war noun
a war between political factions or regions within the same country.
civil war n.
1. A war between factions or regions of the same country.
2. A state of hostility or conflict between elements within an organization
The Confederacy was comprised of states that seceded from the Union. Thus, it was a war between factions or regions of the same country. The war simply occurred because that faction seceded.
Yes, we have had 'one of those'. Now, if you want to go into how the Confederacy was made up of political factions within the US Government, that's fine with me. I can discuss at length about that. I'm very prepared. It's up to you, but I'd suggest not using up the bandwith. It won't fly.
Liberal historians will render their verdict. Paulites will swoon in agreement.
And much of the anti-Paul trolling has nothing to do with opposition to the Iraq war. You see this same kind of crap on other candidate threads as well.
Paul's opposition to the Iraq War and his rank hypocrisy on earmarks earns every bit of derision that gets heaped on him here, just as Rudy's pro-abort gun-grabbing ways earns the same. Certain candidates just walk around with a "kick me" sign above the seat of their pants.
“While you are correct in that Ronald Reagan never declared himself a libertarian, he regularly spoke very highly of libertarianism as an ideal and an ideology.”
And as I’ve written before, this ain’t your father’s libertarianism. Libertarians today are nothing like the Libertarians of only 20 years ago. Barry Goldwater helped raise campaign money by selling Bibles at rallies, for pete’s sake. I used to be very complimentary of Libertarians; their primary focus was on individual liberty, but most were just as socially conservative as any follower of Pat Robertson. But starting in the 90’s, the Libertarians began their fascination with legalizing drugs and prostitution, and basically began chucking any moral code other than making money. The Libertarian Party today is a freakish, warped mirror image of its former self.
Um, see my post #209.
I love that picture
Even members of Lincoln's family held slaves. Even New Yorkers had slaves. Please. If you don't know Civil War history, then don't discuss it.
It wasn’t over that.
In which case, you can hold the same argument about the RevWar. They ALL had slaves (including “Yankees”).
BTW, a civil war is just a revolution in which the insurgents lost.
The confederates didn’t fight over control of the country. they fought to not be part of the expanding union.
If they had won, they wouldn’t of rejoined - so your definition doesn’t fit. They weren’t part of the same country any longer.
