I do love his speaking voice!! It has got to be one of the best in the campaign. I remember when I first heard rumblings of drafting him, and all I could think of was how I melted during his montage during the 2004 Presidential convention. As most here know, I am not a Fred supporter, and I think it is underhanded for him to miss the debate but still try and upstage it. Having said that, it is a pretty good ad.

I absolutely do not want to be petty, I really do appreciate the ad, but I must ask, is the first "still" picture of him in front of the flag from a couple of years ago? He does look "fuller" there. It may just be the angles, but there is a noticeable weight loss in the talking portion. But you are right he still sounds strong.

I noticed it too but didn't want to be nitpicky over it. Could have just been a rush job and they failed to correct aspect ratio or they thought their best pic was an older one.

And that Fred voice is an asset. I don't care what anybody says.
