Didn’t England just kick Catholic organizations out of adoption services for failure to accommodate same-sex couples?
Not yet.
The UK Government has said that adoption agencies should not discriminate against gays when choosing foster parents. The Catholic organisations (which make up a very significant proportion of them) are fighting it, but it looks like a losing battle.
Personally, if I was them I’d pull out completely. The state wants to pick up the slack, let the state explain the tax hike to the electorate.
