You know better than that. In no way, shape or form did he ever say that gays raising children is, or should be, the "American Way" as you imply. Romney has always opposed gay marriage and has said repeatedly that children prosper when they are raised by a mother and a father. Also, he was never a "strong" supporter of abortion. He merely promised to maintain the status quo in a state where approximately 75% of the citizens supported it.
