I can’t speak for anyone else, but this Idahoan was glad he was on his way out. He sold us out re: immigration. I wasn’t going to vote for him again if he chose to run as incumbent.
Jim Risch did more for the state in the few months he spent as interim governor than anyone else who’s been in that spot for years. I was excited to think he might be appointed to fill Craig’s spot.

He is going to be cleared in the court soon and should not knuckle under and/or resign under pressure in September...He has already voluntarily pleaded guilty to a criminal offense. Why would he be cleared after pleading guilty???

So since he didn’t go up the Hershey Highway with a totally unknown other male, in the next stall, there really is no deviant problem.
??
His decision making and morality is impeccable!

Do you think the GOP really wants an "ethics investigation" into this whole mess..? Oh hell no. Craig and the cop arguing over "who did what" under the stalls...? Spare me. The late night talk shows, Stewart, Colbert and SNL revisisting this mess over and over...??
What is Rush thinking...?

A telephone call Craig received last week from Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., urging him to consider fighting for his seat is affecting Craig's decision to reconsider his resignation, Smith said.WTF?
To: muawiyah
"Specter suggested that if his little friend, Craig, can clear his record with the courts then all will be forgiven."Sphinctor is also the senator who voted, "Not proven."

Idahoans need to find a candidate to replace Sen. Craig, whether he resigns, or just decides not to run for re-election. If he decides he doesn’t want to resign, the Republican leadership in the Senate needs to strip him of ALL committee assignments, so he’s just warming a seat until he’s out of there in Jan. of 2009.

I think he still has a lot of support in Idaho.Yeah, I'm sure all the Idaho perverts who enjoy anonymous sex in filthy public restrooms love Craig, but are there enough of them to get Craig re-elected?
This guy should go. Not for being gay. But for being stupid.
My Lord, even my kids know the first four words you say to any cop are, “I want a lawyer.”
This guys is an idiot. Personally, I think he is a closeted gay man who looks for his jollies in the rest room, but that is beside the point. He is an idiot. We dont need him in the party.
And we should find the idiot that recruited him to join the party, and toss him out too.

I guess that trolling in toilets for oral or anal homosexual encounters is not as good in Idaho as traveling elsewhere and in DC? BTW, how does one go about actually doing those things in those stalls? Does one participant crawl under or over the divider to join the other, or is tapping of feet and holding hands the actual deed? (Not that I really want to know...)

Rush has been trying to explain the evil of the drive by media conspiring with Dems who set out to destroy him with false charges. I get it, because they did it to me. Ruioned my business and destroyed my life. Put 40 nice employees out on the street. They did it with a madia blitz that was completely false. It was such a horrible experience I had PTSD. That afternoon a technician asked, “How could this happen in America?” It happens often, and it will continue to happen until the public believes in the constitution enough to quit saddling up for the lynch mobs and leaves justice to the courts where the accused has rights.

With all due respect. I wouldn't want this guy touching 'seats'. Literally and metaphorically.

please take your pension and go away
I just felt that your statement bore repeating.
If he does stay he will cost us a safe seat. Selfish old punk. The likes of him and Mark Foley are determined to change the GOP from "Grand Old Party" to "Gay Old Pedophiles".

He was entrapped, and possibly harrassed and hounded into the guilty plea (and probably told in the process just do this and it will all go away) so he mailed in the signed plea... Duh! Too bad he did not lawyer up on the spot.If he didn't have the sense enough to get a lawyer right away, I'm not sure he has enough sense to serve his constituents properly.

The Governor was ready to appoint the Lt. Gov to Craig’s seat. I say he should run against the “toe-tapping, toilet, Tinker-Bell” in the Idaho Primary.

Hmm, Happy Feet is doing a Potomac Two Step....
I heard Rush today and he was taking up Craig’s cause, I couldn’t believe my ears, Rush was almost frantic trying to defend our bathroom dancer here.
Things are getting really really weird out there folks.
