Who’s most like Dale? Maybe Tony Stewart. If you’re in front of Stewart and he’s got a faster car and you don’t let him by, sooner or later he’s going to get by you but it’s your choice as to what kind of shape your car is in when he does.

Tony yes, to a certain point. But when he goes after someone after he’s bumped and intentionally boots them, no. Don’t get me wrong I like Tony, but his attitude off and on in the media has not been perfect, so I would say off the track Jr is the most like his father. Also, listening to Jr’s radio during races is a lot like his father. We didn’t have in-car radio to listen to that I know of with Sr., but there have been shows about him with some radio transmission.

They mentioned during the race Saturday that Jr wanted to throw the whole car out because his seat hurt did sound a lot like his father.

Jr doesn’t quite have the intimidator style of racing, mostly I think, because he is tired of being compared to his father. I have heard him say to his spotter “tell so and so I’m gonna park him if he does that again” so and so that night was Jeff Green. He said that more than once. On the other hand, he’s always worried that he needs to apologize for every small error made on the track. Tell so and so’s spotter I didn’t do that on purpose etc.

As far as in-car radio entertainment is concerned he’s the most animated of them all with language and can be amazingly funny as well. :) I’m off to work. BBL
