Any idea whose decision this was, and for what reason? If Matt decided to leave I would have though he would stay through the election. I sure will miss his incessant playing of Hillary’s “black voice”, the cash register sound effect, laugh track, etc. Sunday nights will not be as much fun...

It makes me sad, too. Won’t be the same.
I hope this isn’t true but I can’t deny his show has been missing something recently. Hard to believe he’d hang it up before the ‘08 election cycle closes.
Nah, I doubt he needs the money. My speculation, based on nothing whatsoever, is that he’s tired of doing the show.
Well, a few of us liked it.
I dunno. I’d be willing to bet that he likes the guest spots because they’re usually associated with scandal or breaking news of some kind.
Cunningham is hilarious. I’m not sure how well he will be accepted on a national level, but on a regional level is is very good.

I guess I'll have to come up with another reason to have a couple of cocktails at that time.

When one gets right down to it, what has Drudge done lately? I like his site as a portal, but his radio show was terrible. After the 9:30-10PM it was repeat, repeat, repeat. Half the time, when he did take a phone call, he didn’t seem understand what they were talking about. I don’t know the new guy, but he sure can’t be any worse.
