Sorry, absolutely no comparison. People who box are fully cognizant of the risks they are undertaking.

The dogs never asked to be a part of any fight.

A competition. Mind you, this is just my opinion on the differences between sports and competetions. They are all athletic endeavors that require great skill to perform at high levels. My point, if you failed to see it, was about dogfighting not being a sport.

A competitive martial art, like kickboxing or wrestling. Wrestlers just happen to be smarter....
