OMG! Rush just said what I was thinking and posted here on FreeRepublic just last week when I saw the Drudge headline that Fred was going to "announce" on Leno. I thought that it was so inappropriate...that the presidency was too serious and that we are in such serious times to have the office of the presidency devalued by annoucing his intentions on a show like Leno's...(or some words to that effect).
WOW! Rush must have read our thread I'm sure! Ha!
I like Fred and to be honest, I was truly hoping for something "different" from him...something tht sets him apart...something so statesman-like, and I just don't feel that announcing on Leno makes him all that "statesman-like." -- not a very good way to get started IMHO.

Announcing on The Tonight Show would probably reach more wishy washy RINO’s.

My question is: If this guy was contributing to the Clintons in the 1990's, did he get any trips to the White House? And if he got a visit to the White House, was he vetted by Secret Service?
