"It is clear once again that it is the poorest of our community who are deprived of the benefits of the most effective treatment -- psychopharmacology for this condition," he said.

Perhaps Hillary has a plan that will make this problem 10X worse ...

“becomes apparent in some children in the preschool and early school years and is characterized by hyperactivity, inattention and impulsively”

Isn’t that called being a toddler and kid?

Back when I was a kid, this “disease” was called bad behavior. It was caused mainly by a lack of parental guidance and discipline. There were no “behvioral” diseases or heavily medicated kids in our schools and the problem was usually always fixed by discipline and tough parental love. Not by an MD writing a prescription for Prozac or Ritalin.

Let’s just stop all the pretense and drug all the kids so that they’ll be easier to indoctrinate.

Bunch of BS. All the sudden being normal high energy kid has become “wrong” and you need drugs to treat it. In a culture centered around a TV screen with 15 and 30 second ads spaced out every 5 minutes who doesnt have attention deficit? Even a few hours of tv a day and youre bombarded with hundreds of ads for different products that are constantly vying for your attention.

Here in the POOREST of areas in Mexico, we don’t see any of these kinds of disorders, autism, ADD, and obseity. It’s more of an American problem..WHY? I go to villages where dozens of people are 100, no knee replacements, no breast implants, no by pass surgery, no walkers, wheel chairs, and many still have their TEETH. It aint that they need MORE MONEY Hillary. Eeee gads..

Give’em plenty of drugs. It worked wonders on their parents.

I will never forget when my kid sister told our Father, that her son had ADD. My dad went ashen, thinking it was some sort of disease. When she explained it (attention deficit disorder), he replied ‘Oh....Leave him with me for a week. I will get his attention for you’.......! :>)

Yep. My dad medicated this disorder with a brisk application of belt leather to whatever small behinds were displayed symptoms. The Sisters used the same treatment.

Their cure worked like a charm.

Back about 5 years ago our pediatrician and MD, Dr. Silverstein, said my daughter had “a touch of ADD/ADHD.”

This was based upon him looking into her ears and nose, a “concerned” diagnosis from a school administrator and him asking her if she “liked school.”

That was the last time we ever saw that quack and my daughter is now in college, never having taken Ritalin etc.

My 5-year old son is all afterburner and no rudder. Is he ADHD? I dont know and I don’t care cause he is not getting drugs. You gotta let him be a boy, while at the same time respecting the guard rails you put up.
