I agree with you on those issues.
Although for me, Freedom is the big deal, and Federalism is just one implementation detail around it. Lower spending, less taxes, less regulation, less social engineering and limited Government.
And our 1st Amendment (say no to “McCain-Feingold”!) rights protect us against tyranny as much as an weapon - the pen is mightier than the sword. We need all the rights in the Bill of Rights protected.
