I’ve been slightly surprised a couple of times, but never have I been outraged. This is a bunch of hooey.

Walmart is notorious for this and yeah it pisses me off.

I suppose they have to do it and my response could be...well I could just refuse to shop there.

Quit shopping at stores that check your receipt if it bothers you so much. I suppose you would rather pay higher prices to make up for the merchandise that shop lifters steal?

Stores do that to prevent shoplifting.
