The point is, polls this early (and the one quoted from Newsweek in 4/79) are not to be trusted.
I loved a comment one of the national anchors (I think it was David Brinkley) said the night of the 1980 election. Back then Republican states were shown in blue.
He said “The map is beginning to look like a suburban swimming pool.” Priceless.
I was only 17, so I missed out on voting, but I was very excited about getting rid of that idiot Carter.
It is not just liberals. Any patriot is seriously concerned with any of the declared Democrat candidates taking over the White House, the U.S. Armed Forces, and the judicial nominations. I would much rather have Giuliani defeat Clinton than have Clinton beat Thompson. Still, Thompson has at least as good a chance at beating Clinton as Giuliani; this could turn into another Reagan/Bush vs. Carter/Mondale type of ticket if it became Thompson/Giuliani, or even Romney.

Excellent!
Thank you!
You find some of the ugliest, and scariest, pics.
I guess given the subject, that might not be so hard to do. ;o)
As far as I am concerned they have turned the name “Clinton” into common anathema like Lynch and Boycott, both once fine names.
Trust me, no liberals want Giuliani to be the candidate.
