It doesn’t matter to me, I’m supporting Hunter, who is stronger than FT on immigration, on American sovereignty, and on life, and who actually served. He’s also more personable, yet at the same time serious, and doesn’t put people to sleep when he speaks. He is the perfect conservative candidate.
No, from a health standpoint the last thing FT needs is the stress of a run for the White House. Surely, there are a few that care about him enough to see this. Would we run Arlen Specter, politics notwithstanding?

Thompson has not been dreaming about being president since he was in high school. Given that, If his health were in danger, I think it’s highly unlikely that he would want to spend his last breaths running for office. Therefore, I’m inclined to believe his doctors’ reports, rather than internet prognoses.
As for Hunter being the perfect conservative candidate...he’s a good man and candidate, but he has a shaky record in areas where Thompson is very strong — namely, fiscal discipline and reducing the size and scope of federal government.
