Pentagon Plan: Annihilate Tehran's Military In 3 Days
WorldNetDaily ^ | September 2, 2007

The Pentagon has formulated a "three-day blitz" plan to annihilate Iran's military that targets 1,200 sites, including Tehran's nuclear facilities, in order to render its military incapable of conducting offensive, defensive or retaliatory missions. According to the London Sunday Times, citing Alexis Debat, director of terrorism and national security at the Nixon Center, the Pentagon has rejected a strategy of "pinprick strikes" against Iran's nuclear facilities. Revelation of a plan for a three-day blitz to destroy Iran's fighting ability indicates the administration leans toward the use of rapid, overwhelming force if the military option is used. "Whether you go for pinprick strikes or all-out military action, the reaction from the Iranians will be the same," Debat said. Massive use of force was, he said, a "very legitimate strategic calculus."

All the more reason to blow up as much as you can as quickly as you can.

Talking about Iran, the plan makes sense if comes to the use of military force. The clintonesque style of pocking around with a few cruise missiles here and there did not achieve anything in the targeted countries, instead emboldened the enemy.

Okay, that was four years ago. Hopefully, they’ve addressed such weaknesses by now- after all, that’s what war games are for.

This will be great, but...

1) Will our President "start something he may not have time to finish" and place the situation on the next President??

2) Or will it get "done" before he gets out of Office??

Hopefully it gets started before G.W. leaves office or the next president may not get it started.
If Mrs. Clinton gets elected and Iran strikes us I wouldn’t bet she’d hit them even then.
If is is already happened (that we knocked the crap out or Iran) not too much she or anyone could do at that point.

Are you insinuating the Iraqis weren't sufficiently shocked and awed by our fireworks displays?
I don't think GWB has the balls to do what really needs to be done.

That is, destroy ALL their toys.
And leave them in the stone age where they would probably be more comfortable.

Sink their "navy"
Flatten their Nuclear Plant.
Wipe out their Air Force.
Totally destroy their military and industrial capability.

You know, I can’t help but wonder if Bush’s private meetings on Friday with individual Joint Chiefs of Staff were the final consultations before unleashing hell on Nut-job. I hope so!
