True enough. He’s not responsible for idiots. Every candidate has them.

Calling Miami a 3rd world country when they have a HUGE conservative cuban population is not too bright.

Thanks for all you do for Duncan Hunter. I hope he wins. I have been and will be talking him up in Arkansas.
To: davidosborne
He sure held a commanding lead on this one. Only time shall tell how popular he may come. In either case, surely things Duncan stands strong on will force others into a spot, if they differ on national defense and the immigration issues.
The best men/women are often not choosen. But at least he is giving it a try.

Actually, the CATO folks are big fans of the WTO and NAFTA. That says it all.

If government regulating immigration isn't the answer then I guess if the 2 billion poorest people in the world want to barge into the US we shouldn't stop them. Is that about right? No that falls under national defense and, considering how bad it's gotten, the Constitution Article 4 Section 4

“Ill never understand results like that. Hunter and Tancredo are so similar in their stances but look how widely spaced they are.”
For one thing, Hunter would be better at defense than Tancredo. Duncan Hunter got us ABS deployed in Alaska, and he built up the defense that Bill Clinton tore down, and got equipment and weapons to protect our troops, and our country, when he Chaired the House Armed Services Committee, and Hunter went to Iraq FIVE times, and he did some tough fighting duty in Nam and won a medal, and he has a son who did two tours in Iraq, including Fallujah, and is now doing a 3rd tour in Afghanistan, so Hunter has a lot a stake personally, as well.

So, sometimes regulating a business commodity, in this instance "cheap labor", is necessary. That seems to go against your earlier assertion that regulations are never a good idea.
To: billbears
government regulation is never the answer
So you are asserting that there's no reason for a nation's government to protect its consumers from predatory practices by foreign state old corporations that are part of an enemy military-industrial complex and merely wait for the free market to come to the realization that we're being poisioned. Good for you. I hope you find a volleyball to talk to on your political fantasy island.

I think Duncan is a lot more flawless with his intent than Tancredo ie Tancredo tends to say things that offend, while Duncan doesn’t but still comes out with his points. Atleast that’s how I see it. I think they’re both good people, although I disagree with Tancredo’s desire to end ALL immigration.

Texas won’t settle for Rudy McRomney.

Tancredo tends to say things that offend Tancredo has never offended me. Maybe the folks he's offended need offending. God forbid a conservative should ever offend a liberal or jihadi...that would be tragic!
To: Sturm Ruger
Apparently Duncan H has done a very sound “Texas two-step”!
