The Boston Globe has a fawning Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous-ish profile of Fox News Channel’s Geraldo Rivera. In between musing about his favorite pair of soft Uggs (”I’ve worn these in Tora Bora and Somalia,” he says, admiring the suede slip-ons with the sheepskin lining. “They’re so comfortable. I love them.”), his “36-foot Hinckley powerboat,” and his massive estates (including “Seagate, the spectacular, 10-bedroom estate he bought several years ago with his fourth wife” and another “Kennedy-esque compound” with his current wife), he spews this:
Rivera, who as a fledgling lawyer in the ’70s counseled the Puerto Rican nationalist group the Young Lords, says he can’t stomach the politicians and pundits who are stoking “anti-immigrant hysteria,” and his antipathy extends to some of his colleagues at Fox.
“Michelle Malkin is the most vile, hateful commentator I’ve ever met in my life,” he says. “She actually believes that neighbors should start snitching out neighbors, and we should be deporting people.
“It’s good she’s in D.C. and I’m in New York,” Rivera sneers. “I’d spit on her if I saw her.”

Firstly, I’ve been posting here at least 2 years longer than you under my former and still active username South40. But you had no way of knowing that so your ignorance is excused.
Secondly, I have no reason to fabricate my history of debating whoraldo supporters, nor would I. That said, your assertion that we've yet to see one in this thread is somehow proof they don’t exist is absurd. While they may be willing to defend him as a ‘good guy’ and used his alleged support of our troops as proof, perhaps they are reticent to the fact that he would make such a statement as spitting on a conservative Michelle Malkin. I would expect someone with your intelligence to have seen and understood that but I guess I’ve overestimated you. Then again, perhaps you do get it and you’re just still desperately clinging to your lost argument, humorous as it may be, considering my history of debates with whoraldo supporters predates your history of posting in this forum.

Michelle is a brilliant woman who is able to speak her mind and have an opinion that differs from others on FNC. To say that he would "spit on her" is just contemptible.
If I ran Fox News, I'd fire his ass for that remark.

But you said he had "lots" of supporters here, which is not even close to being truthful today. His support for the troops was exposed as a fraud a long time ago. Even the most gullible Freeper has been hip to his act for at least a couple years now. When the last time you took on these numerous supporters you're alleging? Can you show me a recent thread that supports your claim that he has lots of support here?

You know I just smacked myself on the head when I saw this post. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it ‘till this moment but Geraldo’s probably got illegals taking care of his boat and property when he’s not in residence. Marion, Mass. is “spitting” distance from NEW BEDFORD. No wonder he was carrying on about the raids there, he could lose some of his help if it keeps up.

It didn’t happen just six years ago. It’s occurred many times in the past 6 years, which is the reason why I remember it so well. But trying to convince someone who fails to grasp the difference between “lots” and “multitudinous legions” is proving an impossible task. So be it.

The posting guidelines clearly state, “Don't represent yourself as another person, create or use another screen name to avoid a revocation of posting privileges (something I have not done as my other name has never been banned), misrepresent the site or your role in it,..."
Not only have I not done any of the above I have been open about who I am to you and to many others. And, before you embarrass yourself again, that "many" was not meant to connote "multitudinous legions".
