More importantly he first came clean to his wife and changed his behavior years ago before it ever became public. IOW he was genuinely contrite and sought through marriage counseling to save his marriage which he has apparently done. Good for him.

Yes. His friend the DC madam is in the news today claiming national security implications for her extortion scam. From personal experience I know that the drive bys will even make it up, if they want to. They will keep destroying people until someone finds a way to stop them. All this self congratulation about standards just enables them.
