Families Pan Giuliani 9/11 Anniversary Plans (RINO Alert)

One might think the New York City mayor who led the Big Apple through the worst terrorist attack in history would be warmly received at this year's 9/11 memorial service.

Not so, say several outspoken 9/11 family groups, who view presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani's appearance as a way for him to capitalize politically on the day of mourning.

"There should be no political shadow over this day," said Diane Horning, who helped found the family group WTC Families for Proper Burial after losing her son Matthew when the twin towers collapsed.

Giuliani's estrangement from the family groups isn't anything new. Some of the most outspoken families have already shown opposition to Giuliani's tendency to bring up 9/11 in speaking engagements for his presidential run by protesting outside his appearances. And one of the nation's largest firefighters unions created a video titled Rudy Giuliani: Urban Legend giving details on how they believe Giuliani failed the city of New York before, during, and after the terrorist attacks.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who invited his predecessor to the event, stood by the decision Tuesday at the National Press Club.

"I think it's appropriate to have Pataki and Giuliani there," Bloomberg told reporters. "After all, they were there at the time and they've done it every year." Bloomberg spokesman Stu Loeser said this will be the seventh memorial of its kind (the first was held six months after 9/11) and Giuliani has been invited to attend every one even though he was no longer mayor.

The firefighters union brass et al are the ones politicizing the event—to promote their RAT candidate.

Yeah. And I wouldn't be surprised, given some of the stories I've read, and pictures I've seen - about/of RINO-rudy (living with gays, can't keep a wife, prancing down the street in "gay pride parades", his speech impediment, cross-dressing, etc.), if it "came out" that RINO-rudy is a SWEETPEA himself.

With his penchant for power-at-all-costs, his marriages to the opposite sex may have been nothing more than a mcgreevy-like charade, and another example of his extreme political opportunism - WHATEVER IT TAKES to get, and KEEP, my ass in power.

Scumbag.

If all they want is a demonRAT, they've virtually GOT ONE in RINO-rudy.

No, they don't dislike the scumbag just because he has a , meaningless in this caes, (R) after his name.

There's MUCH more to it than that.

Then these Democrat political front groups shouldn't be bringing it.

Giuliani was the Mayor of NYC during 9/11. It would be an insult if he wasn't there.
And Rudy's leadership on 9/11 is part of his political portfolio. Since when has a man's own political record been off limits for him to discuss during a campaign?
Vietnam was a national tragedy but none of these Democrats told John Kerry he had no right to talk about that.

Of course Giuliani has a right to - and should - talk about 9/11. Not just because of his role, but also because people need to be reminded we are still at war.

"role".

There's the KEY word.

RINO-rudy is an ACTOR.

He ACTS like a Republican, but he is NOT one.

And he ACTS like he was a hero of 9/11, which he MOST ASSUREDLY WAS NOT.

He's nothing more that a demonRAT-in-Republican-clothing SCUMBAG... PERIOD.
