Nine weeks that made a kid a man, and a mom proud: Jason Scowden was a screwup. Now he's a soldier.

Nine weeks have passed since Jason Scowden boarded a bus in Tampa for basic training, nine hellish weeks of hikes and pushups, blisters and blood in the Georgia hills.

The kid who grew up playing PlayStation and watching Jackass learned to kick down doors and roll grenades, to fire antitank missiles and sniper rifles.

The man marching past his mother now, marching closer to war, is not the kid who got on that bus.

To be hit or not to be hit.

Liberals, deviant perverts, sickos and what not “I wanna be a real boy and a real girl” mantras, want us to have “feelings”, so we can be hit, to be hit on again and again by perv mentaly screwed gays and drugs, exploiting early female adolescence to generate as a basis this autoinflamation (boob jobs, migranes, PMS and little peckers included), and they want us to be violated in their never ending lawyer lead 60s depravity pogrom against society... all in the name of being “free”, “against war”, fighting Jesus and the Bible (wise concepts never really hitting but truly tool giving).

All the power to that kid. May the good hit force be with you, and not against you, and then you will be a man “young jedi”. You have made the right choice, you will be part of history, truth and freedom, because who is part of history makes the free and frees himself, because he does not rewrite history the way the Hitlers of today in pink liberal garbs and lawyer gawns do, through historicism (slave repairations, affirmative action etc.) and new age pogroms legalized in courts, all socialite churches looking for government and excuses to murder all the while pretending to be for peace.

FREEDOM. TO NOT BE HIT BY THEM! to forgo the trap and jail of feelings they cage us with, to end the hypocrisy of feel good, bleeding hearts, all excuses to be hit, first with gentle “feeling” strokes, and, then, once open and ready to be violated, they leak their chops, wanting to throw us in feminist hell... but the eternal fire of radiation, the play, it’s ultimately on them, in their self infatuation, self inflamations, self “offensification” and mad denial full self-flateries and hypocrite fantasy full flaming lives of drugs, sex and rock and roll... all fueled by what they crave and envy most OIL OIL OIL...

OIL... liberals... they crave it. Hillary wants it bad for herself from the “magnates”... ahaahahahh

Remember, if there is something worse than a S&M self-beat ncommunist, Bolshevik terrorist or Islamofascist terrorist, it might very well be a beat former of those, unrepenting, in liberal colors.

Down with this disease full of AIDS and STDs.

I went to high school with a real screw up. Never did anything really horrible just was a general screw up. Joined the marines out of high school.

20 years later this kid is President of a medium sized company married for 12 years father of 4. His parents stop people on the streets to tell them they thank the marine corps every day for what they did for Mike.

Amazingly enough the story is from a very liberal newspaper. Good story, as a mom, it made me cry. I just wanted to share a positive story, especially since it came from this particular source.

I did four years in the Army. Much of the time I hated it. Years later, I am grateful for the chance to serve. I learned to walk with a purpose, pay attention to detail, and to be resourceful. Actual soldiering turned out to be secondary to these important lessons. Everybody who can possibly serve, should. An invaluable experience.

There is no way you can stand in your drawers in a room with 300 others similarly attired, with your wallet and watch in one hand and still think that the world revolves around you!

And if you do someone who makes the senior Paul Tuddle from American Chopper look like St. Frances of Assissi will prove it other wise in due course. Fires of life can forge a man.

In spite of the newspaper trying to destroy the story in the first lines, talking about casualties etc, its a great story of a young man doing well.

God bless you Jason. Continue to make us proud.

“I did four years in the Army.”

I became all I could be - actually.

Mostly I had fun and enjoyed the work and learned that I was capable of more than I had ever dreamed.

The SPT hates everything Bush and Republican. I’m skeptical enough to notice this is not the nice article it masquerades to be.

Very first line -”On a cloudy Thursday, the day after sixteen more American soldiers died in Iraq, the day after President Bush compared the war there to Vietnam, a red rental car from Tampa pulls into a parking lot...”

(Let’s start right out talking about Bush’s war that’s killing people)

“Sue Scowden searches for her son. She can’t pick him out.

The boy she prays for looks just like the rest of them now — shaved head, hard stare. The son she felt so close to losing is lost in a field of gray-green.”

(Now this clueless woman has turned her son into an automaton)

“He concentrated so hard that he lost his sense of time and place, and before long, the whole unit was back at the barracks.

“Pfc. Scowden fell asleep with a new lesson: If you don’t know where you are, you don’t know how far you are from your destination.”

(The army has succeeded. It’s changed this unique creative boy into a war machine)

That’s just part of it. When you look at this article through a liberal prism, their agenda is clear as day. The sneering attitude of John Kerry if you don’t go to college you could end up in Iraq is evident in every line.

Wonderful story. I have a son due to graduate from Basic Training in about 3 weeks. He was good when he went and will be even better when he’s through!

Well, you may see that, but click on the story and read the comments from readers at the bottom of the story. Everything readers are saying is positive toward the military and about the story.

Well, the SPT must not be happy about that. Here it writes a story grudgingly giving the military a kernel, and those lamebrain conservatives are sifting the truth from it.

Unless you’re a fighter pilot. Then it’s a job requirement.
