Why is it not considered Labour’s fault? If Thatcher were in power during such a thing that would be all people would talk about.
Most likely for the same reasons as the same sorts of things happen here in the USA.....as far as the media is concerned, NOTHING is the fault of the Left / the Dems, EVERYTHING that's bad is the fault of Conservatives / Republicans.
