I have only heard him claim to be a constitutionalist, not a conservative.
That’s how I see it...
I have had many discussions with Paul supporters and although they claim to be constitutionalists, they appear to know nothing about the constitution. Though they call themselves conservatives, they support few conservative ideas beyond smaller government and lower taxes, which can never be acheived under liberal social policies.

Ah yes, the hoary old myth of dumb conservatives getting led astray by packaging and labels. Are you sure you are a conservative?
The GOP as a whole does not represent my values, and the typical GOP officeholder is indistinguishable to me from most Democrats. OTOH, nearly all of the handful of politicians I do like are Republican.
Ask them to read the new Iraq Constitution and they will even change what it really says. it say’s they are now under Sharia law but when a new age republican gets through with it, it is a great democracy !Closed minds and open borders , are a disaster for our troops and future generations.
