The cops who are going in there and having to subject themselves to these perverts are performing a public service.

It is not a job I would want to do. But they should be applauded. They are trying to clamp down on homosexual perverts who would prey on innocents - possibly even your son or grandson.

Why some people on Free Republic are defending the public menace that is Larry Craig is beyond me.

Heard the tape this afternoon. This thing is sounding fishier by the minute. Some of Craigs response to the cop sounded pretty logical and the cop started sounding more histerical.

Can’t imagine having a “good” job like sittin in the RR for hours trying to catch some fags attention.

Not defending Craig, but it just looks like maybe a lot more to the story than we’ve been told so far.

If it can be shown that they lied, then I'm guessing that they will pay a far worse penalty than Craig will, if convicted.

There is the matter of the audio tape, which "may" include considerably more than what has been released to the public.

Time will tell, and hopefully justice will prevail.

Except he agreed to lesser charges of disorderly conduct...PLUS, in the audio of the interview, Craig said he was picking up a piece of toilet paper, not just a piece of paper. I don't know about you, but most people I know don't go around picking up TP on the floor of public restrooms.

Everyone can dance around this rediculous event all day long, but the bottom line is his constituents are furious with him, (myself included) and we don't expect our congress critters to be implicated in such a disgusting behavior.
