It’s not just the angle... the entire picture is a copy-and-paste mirror image. It’s the same pair of feet, flipped horizontally, with the pants color tweaked and a couple of minor edits to make it look different.

IMO, If you look at the center divider, you'll see it thicker at the base (floor). This means that the photo was taken with a wide-angle lens angled slightly upwards. The wide angle distorts objects and distances and yes, it makes the distances at the floor level wider and the divider base thicker. This could also be confirmed by the unusually intersecting (normally parallel) tile lines.
IF ABC wanted to show the real distances they would have used a 50 mm lens (normal).
