Direct quote of the cop from the TRANSCRIPT:

Heck, he may as well called Larry Craig a "nappy headed ho"....except Craig is bald and a man.
Perhaps there is a bit of latent (or not so latent) racism running rampant in the Minneapolis Police Department.
I think the cop was just exasperated at the lying and sincerely disappointed in a US Senator being caught this way.
Or maybe the cops just expect more forthright behavior from a U.S. senaror than from someone right out of the ‘hood.
I know I sure do.

I listened to that. If I hadn’t heard or read anything about this and had to go on this tape alone, I would probably give Craig a break because I didn’t like the way the cop handled it all. I’m disappointed because you are not agreeing with me? What’s up with that?
And what is the deal with the cop saying Craig put his left hand under the stall to the right of him? All I could picture was Craig falling off the john if he did that. Or didn’t I hear it correctly?
I am blissfully and totally ignorant of gay culture and gay prostitution, that said what the heck did Craig do that was illegal?
I don’t think I’ll be using airport bathrooms even in the worst circumstances for fear the sounds might be misconstrued as some kind of gay sign language and a cop will bust me.
I can’t imagine what I’d get busted for if I tied my shoes...
This is insane regardless of the supposed sign language.
By his own admission at his press conference, Craig knew that he was under investigation by the Idaho Statesman for precisely this kind of conduct. What are the chances that of all the people in the world and of all the different things one could be falsely accused of, he happened to be the guy busted by an undercover police officer a thousand miles and several states away in Minnesota for precisely the conduct that he claims the newspaper was mounting a witch hunt against him by pursuing? Respectfully, this is pretty simple stuff.
Still, I want to know who originally contacted the Idaho Statesman. Mike Rogers comes to mind.
