Somebody set me straight, since I don’t have cable and only saw a blurry vid clip: The Nuge came on stage with real weapons, not props? Were they loaded? Was he loaded? Was he making a threat to an actual politician WHILE holding a REAL weapon? If so, he is going to be a very closely watched man, and I would be truly amazed if he has not already had a visit or 2 from the Secret Service. And yes, it is a black day for gun owners as his will become the image that all the gun grabbers use to gin up their base, and pass lord only knows how many new and oppressive laws.

I seriously doubt they were real weapons. Nuge is an experienced performer, and an NRA board member. Those are non-firing props. His threat was to say "Hillary, here use this to fly", among other things. The whole schtick is the intro do his song "Kiss my Glock".

Tasteless, sure. But I seriously doubt there is any danger involved and it was a stage performance. Having the SS interview him would be as absurd as interviewing people who play roles in movies.

Good. I love the guy. He is so over the top. I do know that the Secret Service, they check these things out. They got all the time in the world... I must admit I am completely unfamiliar with the act. The music is not what I dig, but that is just me. Ted got hit by a piece about avoiding the draft last week. Anyone know the bona fides of that claim?
