I’d say that the congress as a whole is doing the same thing.

Remember the Islamic Imam’s opening prayers, then the Hindu priest opening the session with prayers.

Very little objection by the body on either side. There was one lone voice yelling out, “There shall be no other G_d before thee, forgive us Lord Jesus.”
