Then: they’re going to go to court with with collection of odd signals even though there’s no overtly sexual activity or even any clear verbal communication taking place?

I thought homosexual sex is OK now socially, morally, and legally, so why are plainclothes cops still out in public restrooms arresting homos for trying to hook up with each other? Would a guy flirting with girl while waiting at the gate also be breaking some obscure MN law? Prostitution is still illegal in most places, but that profession involves money changing hands.

Non-professional hookups between consenting adults for sexual gratification isn't illegal anywhere in the US these days as far as I know, and if it still is in some unsophisticated bible belt areas the ACLU and the federal courts will soon take care of that oversight.

Don't get me wrong, I believe homosexual sex is an abomination and a sin in God's eyes, and for that matter adultery and sex between unmarried couples is also sin. But if society has decided that anything goes in the realm of sexual gratification between consenting adults, why pick on a select few homosexuals who happen to be Republicans who hold public office? I haven't heard anything about Bawny Fwank being arrested in MA, and I am reasonably sure that he doesn't lead a celibate life.

The cop wasn’t “picking on” Senator Craig, he was enforcing the law against having sex in a public bathroom!

We used to have a park here in Central Point that got so bad with homos meeting for sex that eventually it was shut down.

I applaud what the cop did, it needs to be done everywhere.
