Your first reply on this thread is an aspersion cast about Fred Thompson's supporters here...how about you getting in the game and telling the board what you like or don't like about the candidate?

And what is this "Rudy Julie Annie" nonsense?

"And as much as I can’t stand Rudy Julie Annie, he’s stood in the face of much adversity..."

????

Your sentiments are incoherent. Your statement can be likened to the following:

"As much as I can't stand The Hildebeast, she is owed respect for something-or-other"

"As much as I can't stand John Effing Kerry, he should be recognized as having had an impact on something at some time"

"As much as I can't stand Al "The Moron" Gore, he has been through a lot of personal problems and has always prevailed"

One does not slur someone with a pejorative nickname and then laud the person sincerely. It shows the poster to be a phony.

You're a phony, sir! Now what's your point?

Now what's your point?

What's my point? Thanks for asking.

My point is that even though I could never vote for Rudy Giuliani in a Primary, or even in the General Election, every onece in a while it doesn't hurt to give the devil his dues.

I worked for George W. Bush in four elections; two Gubernatorial Elections and two for POTUS. I've been very disappointed in his position on immigration, his wild-eyed spending, the Harriet Miers fiasco and numerous other things.

Just because I don't agree with someone on every issue does not make them the devil. That also applies to people on this website. Just because someone does not fall lock-step in line with us 100% on everything our candidate does, doesn't mean that they can't recognize something good in that candidate or some other candidate; e.g. Romney knows how to run a campaign, while Fred's campaign is faltering and he hasn't even gotten out of the chute.

My point is, we should not be so insecure that we take offense and go ballistic because a person does not suck up to us and our every opinion. We should not be so insecure that we can't handle someone making constructing criticism about our candidate.

Now, I answered your question. You can reply to me if you so choose, but from this point on I will not read your replies and I certainly will not respond. I don't feel that I need to explain myself to you any further.
